Daily Plan

The Bottom Line – Like a jar, each day is fundamentally limited. Let’s fill it with Rocks that matter most:

  • To help us set our daily intention, I.Liv. uses an age-old Jar-Rock-Pebbles-Sand concept of unknown origins.  The idea is to consider a jar as a metaphor for your day. Our days are ultimately bound by time, just as a jar provides a definite boundary for the amount of rocks we can put inside it.
  • Let’s work to live each day by pre-loading it with the most important things to get done. To add a practical layer, we also size them (rocks and pebbles differ in the amount of space they take in the jar).
  • We don’t need to over-plan for the little things (sand) or things that will get done without needing our intentional energy.
