My Health

Taking care of your mind and body health is central to your overall well-being and life quality. There are many benefits of a healthy body and mind, including:

  • Improved physical health and reduced illness;
  • Having more energy and feeling more fit;
  • Gaining a positive outlook on life;
  • Greater mind clarity to take make healthy choices and take charge of your life.

Investment in mind and body care is a long-term game. Lasting changes take time and are a constant “work in progress”. I.Liv uses the My Health Life Quad to help you plan and prioritize “Rocks” in support for your mental and physical health. As part of your daily I.Liv practices, you will create mind and body habits related to nutrition, movement and mindset that will help you maintain and improve your overall mental and physical health.

I.Liv will help you to:

  • Recognize the VALUE of mind and body activities to maintain and improve our health;
  • QUANTIFY the energy / effort we spend on our mental and physical health;
  • PRIORITIZE your health consistently in line with our needs and goals, in a way that is realistic with everything else going on in your life.

Some examples of Daily Rocks you might allocate to your My Health Life Quad include:

  • Physical Health: e.x. 30 mins of movement such as walking or running; Making time for regular check-ups for your healthcare provider; Commitment to getting enough sleep.
  • Mental Health: Taking regular mental health breaks throughout the day; Practicing regular meditation (or another type of mental focusing); Getting support from a mental health practitioner, as needed.
  • Nutrition: Regular meal planning; Making healthy mindful decisions when eating, such as eating to hunger signals; Drinking plenty of water.

Daily I.Liv practices will help raise your awareness about mind and body health so that you can be intentional in your actions and behaviours. Some important considerations to help you plan and prioritize My Health are:

  • What are the mind and body habits I do on a consistent basis? Are they good or bad for my health?
  • How do I feel after completing my mind and body habits? What mind and body habits bring me joy, increase my energy, or improve my overall health?
  • What mind and body habits could I replace with ones that bring more value or enjoyment to my life?
  • How can I reinforce new, healthy habits and trust that even small behaviour changes can have lasting results?
